alexandriawebHad the most insane bus ride, like many things I can only really introduce this with a clip from Sailor Moon (couldn't get a shorter clip but I'm on about the possessed dissapearing busses bit):

Anyways, getting to the bus in the first place was a bit of a faff, we turned a corner and the bus was there, just at the moment the button on my skirt decided to pop!
So Kev ran ahead and I stumbled along after him clutching my skirt to stop it dropping down!
So we got on the bus, bus itself was fairly quiet, just us, couple of metalers who I suspect had just left Legends (really early though now I think about it so maybe not), Charvette, a middle aged bloke and apprently there was an Emo to but I didn't see him.
Anyways, Metalers were playing tinny phone music and somehow (don't ask me how I don't remember), me and Kev started talking about Liabach (sp?), and he dug out his MP3 player and found their version of "One Vision" and put it on (no louder than the tinny phone music), all was fine for about a minute, then the middle aged man asked him to turn it off (in retrospect I'm pretty sure it wasn't until the vocal's kicked in this guy objected so I now have this crazy theory about how this guy secretly hates German or something), he turned it off and muttered "funny how nobody ever asks Charvs to turn their music off" and I replied "Maybe we need more burberry to look threatening" and laughed, thinking that would be the end of it...WRONG!
The Metalers put their tinny phone music on again after about ten minutes of silence, this went on for quite a while by which point I was thinking how unjust this all was (I'd had more drinkies than I useually do lol), when the Charvette sticks her neb in "Errrrr are yu' fick or summit? Yu'v allready bin' told tu turn yu' music off" and the bloke stares at me and Kev, to whom I say, quite coldly "I Love how we get the dirty look".
I assume the Metalers must have completly ignored them because their phone music was still playing when a Charv guy got on the bus and walked right to the back.
He made a comment about the depressing music and teh Charvette says "Yeah it's depressing isn't it! We've had this since Newcastle" (which is blatently not true, they'd only been playing their phone music since *just* before Kev tried to put Liabach on which was at Wrekington because I destinctly remember passing the CO-OP!), at which point (maybe stupidly) I start thinking out loud "Am I on a bus to the Twilight Zone?" I was laughing, Kev was laughing, I glanced over at the Metalers and they were laughing (though not as loudly) and the crazy Charv guy AT THIS POINT decided now was the time to come out with that old classic..."Errr go back to slittin' ya 'rists!"
I somehow managed to giggle fit "Dude that's Emos!" (If I'd have known there was an Emo on the bus I wouldn't have said it) and Kev came out with "Keep your crazy fetishes to yourself!"
The Charv guy's response?
"You look like you've never had a pussy in your life!" (who even still says pussy? I wasn't aware I'd just walked into cheap porn/ the Deadwood Circus!) and I was like,
"Is he blind, what am I?"
Funnily enough he shut up for a while, but then got back to the music somehow and ended up accusing us of listening to Pantera (PAAAAAANTERA? I DON'T EVEN LIKE ANYTHING OTHER THAN WALK AND I ONLY LIKE THAT BECAUSE THE BASE LINE SOUNDS EXACTLY LIKE THE NOISE INDUSTRIAL KNITTING MACHINES MAKE!*)
Madness, utter madness, who come to think of it, I prefer to Pantera...Lol
*I may have drunk danced to it more than once in Legends :S
